Pre-Launch Event Highlights
Last week, Phoenix Technologies AG hosted an exclusive pre-launch event for kvant AI at the AI Innovation Center Basel. This premier Swiss Sovereign AI private cloud, developed in collaboration with IBM, leverages the advanced capabilities of IBM watsonx AI and the powerful IBM Vela AI Supercomputer. The event was attended by over 150 key figures from the Swiss AI ecosystem, marking it as a significant moment in our company’s history.
The event featured opening speeches from prominent politicians, followed by an insightful presentation from Thomas Taroni, CEO of Phoenix Technologies, who showcased various AI applications and their integration into our kvant AI solution. The event was further enriched by the presence of key partners, including Christian Keller from IBM, Richard Zobrist from Red Hat, Alexandra Beckstein from QAI Ventures, and Rolf Schaub from ICT Scouts. Together, they emphasized the importance of the new sovereign AI ecosystem not only for Switzerland but for Europe as a whole.
A Commitment to Sovereignty and Innovation
At Phoenix Technologies, our mission is to push the boundaries of AI, setting new standards in the industry while offering complete sovereignty to our clients. By ensuring that our clients' data remains local and accessible only to them, we reinforce our commitment to data security and operational integrity. The AI Innovation Center at the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area is more than just a facility—it’s a magnet for innovation, attracting industry leaders from across Switzerland and beyond.
As we move forward, Phoenix Technologies will continue to lead in the realms of Sovereign Cloud and AI, building a future where technology serves the values of its users and secures their data in the most robust and environmentally responsible manner.
